This book is dedicated to the memory of the famous Russian military commander, World War hero and the first elected Don ataman after the fall of the autocracy in Russia. The published texts of the letters have been transcribed from the originals stored in the State Archives of the Russian Federation. The first edition of Kaledin's letters was published in 2011, but work on the texts did not stop after that. It was possible to clarify the dates of some events, the names and names of places, and also to find information about previously unknown personalities mentioned in the letters.
