The readings were dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the birth of Professor T.M. Garipova. Talmas Magsumovich Garipov (July 31, 1928, Moscow - May 19, 2022, Ufa) was a Soviet and Russian linguist-Turkologist, corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus (1992), Doctor of Philology (1974), professor (1979), Honored Scientist of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (1983) and the Russian Federation (1992), honorary worker of higher professional education of the Russian Federation (2003). The articles are devoted to current problems of general and regional linguistics, problems of studying and teaching Russian as a native, non-native and foreign language, humanitarian research on the problems of the past, present, and future of the peoples of Eurasia.
