This unique book is one more monument to Holocaust victims. It consists of three logically connected parts: the first part is a documentary story concerning the Holocaust tragedy of 1941-1945, the second part includes stories of eyewitnesses and the third one contains a list of the dead Jews. Forty chapters of the book correspond to 40 days before the mass shooting. The author of the book managed to truly recreate the atmosphere of that period, reflect people's horror and tremendous losses of the Jewish nation.
