The peasant's rebellion, excited at the end of January in 1921 in Tyumen province is traditionally called Western Siberian. It was the biggest armed uprising during the times of communist government in Russia. The rebellion was violently and rather quickly suppressed, but nevertheless forced the Soviet government to refuse from the politics of "military communism".
