The authors of the First Region dedicated the collection to the 85th anniversary of the formation of the Brest region and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders.

In the distant harsh years, poets painfully worried about the fate of their beloved country, and their poetic lines today sound like a testament to protect the beloved land from grief and misfortune and fill their lives with creative work. Well, the sincere, noble appeal "Life for the Motherland!", which, in fact, unites the works collected under one cover, are lines from Valentin Tavlai's poem "Morning of Victory."
