The book is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the end of the Civil War in the European part of Russia, when in November 1920 the last units of the Russian army of General P.N. Wrangel were evacuated from the Crimea. It tells about the harsh everyday life of the government, banking and financial institutions of the Crimea, forced to survive and conduct their activities in the difficult conditions of hostilities, growing political and economic upheavals. The book is intended both for specialists and for a wide range of readers. It covers in chronological order both well-known and little-known pages of the history of Crimea, related to financial and monetary relations during the First World War and the Civil War. The main documentary base was the materials of local archives, as well as publications of researchers involved in the study of the history of Crimea during the Civil War.
