In the second part of the study on street battles between Ukrainians and Poles in Lviv, which resulted in a full-scale war between neighboring nations, the author carefully reconstructs the dramatic course of the confrontation during November 10-21, 1918, based on documentary sources, testimonies and memoirs. The process of involving official Kyiv and Warsaw in the conflict, which led to the beginning of the Ukrainian-Polish war of 1918–1919, is recreated. The vicissitudes of the battles on November 13–17 were analyzed, the reasons for the temporary cessation of hostilities during November 18–20 were highlighted, and the circumstances of the decisive battle on November 21 were reproduced as fully as possible. Based on this information, both the decisions made by the command of both parties and possible alternatives were assessed.
