In 1949 Lucy Hordikaynen, a collector of geological party, conducts an eye survey on the route from the village Tommot on the Aldan to the village Churan on the Lena. In 1950 she is engaged in searching for diamonds in the Northern Urals and from 1955 to 1963 - in Yakuti in the basin of the river Alakit.
