Y.Scheglov is a Russian philologist, author of the works on poetics and Russian literature. He lives and works in Madison (Wisconsin, USA). The present book is dedicated to the classical poem of Ovid "Metamorphosis". The appendix contains a reprint of the original draft of this work - the first scientific publication of the author, which appeared 40 years ago.
