Philosopher of the Russian Diaspora, theologian, publicist, literary and music critic, composer. A student of Berdyaev and Bulgakov, he tried in his philosophy to combine Berdyaev's philosophy of freedom and Bulgakov's sophiology. In literary criticism, he continued the traditions of Soloviev, Merezhkovsky, etc.: analysis of literature from the point of view of religious philosophy. As a publicist he started out as a Eurasian.
