The book is the sixth collection of scholarly papers from a collection dedicated to the memories of Cvita Fiskovic. The gathering on which this Prologue is based, held in 2014, was devoted to the exchange of artistic experiences in the Adriatic basin from ancient times to modernity. The area along the eastern edge of the Adriatic Basin, as an active zone of the East and West, is particularly marked by the mobility of artists and art, migrations and hybridizations of ideas, forms and tastes, which fifteen studies in this collection are explored from very different perspectives, contributing to the polyhedric ultimate figure.
