On the basis of rich archival material the monograph investigates into the problem of social, economic and cultural development of ethnical minorities in Podille region in 20-30's of the XXth century. Special attention is paid to the Jewish and Polish population of the above mentioned region. State policy towards the minorities is revealed by the author as well. Much attention is paid to the forming of school education of the Jews and the Polish. Influence of the Soviet Government on the development of the minorities is discussed in detail by the author.
