This monograph is the fruit of the author's scientific activity in the field of architectural archeology. Analysis of the history of construction equipment, including the history of building materials of Belarusian masonry architecture of the XI-XVIII centuries, allowed the author to identify several stages of their existence and determine their periodization: the Byzantine period (XI-XII centuries); the Gothic period (XIII - first half of the XVI century); Renaissance (mid-sixteenth - early seventeenth century.), Baroque (late sixteenth and eighteenth centuries.). The book is based on the results of research not only by Belarusian researchers, but also by scientists from Russia and Lithuania.
