The book presents a picture of the burdensome historical past of the Galician gentry heraldic family Drago-Sasov, an important creator of the structural element of the Ukrainian national community, the genetic code of which is hidden by the etymology of its name. The presentation was carried out by expressing the historical memory of the European genesis of this Genus. The book contains information about the stay and forced return of the ancestors of the Family in medieval times from Central Europe to the fatherland. Attention is drawn to the acquisition of military art by them in the military Sasov squads-dredges on the basis of the knightly complex of gentry ideals, begun in the army of the Roman Empire. At the same time, the book informs about the important stages in the life and work of historical figures of Slavic-Ukrainian origin and about the historical territories where Ukrainianism was born and formed and the formation and development of the Sasov Family took place. Acquaintance of descendants with the historical path of their ancestors, who could be or were active participants in the defining events of European history, their historical path when returning to Russia-Ukraine, contributes to the revival of pride in Ukrainianism, Ukraine and identical medieval formations under the names of Ruthenia, Rusia, Uckermark -Ukraine, etc.
