Croatian poet Petar Gudelj (1933, Podosoj) today is undoubtedly one of the greatest poets of the Stokavian language space of the twentieth century. In his vast and respected poetic opus, however, there is one book somewhat hidden in this poetry archipelago of Gudel, and one of the most conspicuous and most authentic books of our language. For what will happen in the territory of Yugoslavia as a cataclysm of savagery and war 1991-1995, this book was in its own way miraculously anticipative. It is a book on Europa on a tank, which was published as a separate edition only once, and this was completely gudelevsko: in 1987 Slobodan Masic, the first independent publisher in Yugoslavia, published it in his edition "Nova 23" in Belgrade. The author placed a genre label along with the title of the book - poems.
