The monograph covers the history of national engineering geodynamics, provides a regional classification of geological and engineering-geological processes and phenomena, analyzes modern methods of their engineering-geological study and forecasting, as well as measures for engineering protection of territories from manifestations of hazardous and adverse processes. From the standpoint of the concept of lithotechnical systems, a methodology for engineering and geological substantiation of the management of the development of negative geological processes and engineering and geological processes in the field of interaction of engineering structures and components of the geological environment has been proposed.
