In this book by Belarusian-Ukrainian poetess Ina Snarska, her relatives, neighbors, and friends from her childhood villages in the Polach region live. Each story is written from the heart, with great love for its characters. The book ends with a story dedicated to the memory of the mother, her difficult fate and love. Belarusian-Ukrainian poetess Ina Snarskaya was born in ancient Polotsk. She graduated from secondary school No. 3, Novopolotsk Polytechnic Institute, received a diploma in civil engineering. After graduating from the institute (1987), she worked for three months in Molodechno at a metal construction plant. She married a Ukrainian and moved with him to Poltava. She gave birth to a son, Vladislav. For two years, she worked as a specialist at the department of reinforced concrete structures of the Poltava Construction Institute, but, having a creative nature, she took up journalism. She graduated from the philological faculty of Poltava Pedagogical University named after V.G. Karolenko.
