The monograph is devoted to the issues of Lithuanian theogony, the origin of gods and their interrelations. The author aims at searching the traces of the theogonic myth through the famous Lithuanian fairy tale by highlighting the elements through folklore, history and ethnography. The myth turned into the fairy tale describes the origin of the pantheon structure.
