The monograph analyzes explored and probable reserves of iron-ore deposits and coal fields in the Far East and Southern Yakutia as a prospective mineral-charge base of a large-scale metallurgic complex, reveals preconditions of priority industrial familiarization of iron-ore deposits in Southern Yakutia, in particular the Taiga deposit, the biggest one in Siberia and the Far East, undertakes estimation and prognosis of conjuncture of world and home market of iron-ore charge and output of metallurgic enterprises, works out basic directions of development of the Taiga mining concentrating center taking into account application of progressive techniques and technologies of manufacturing and complex usage of high-grade borate-magnetite ores, and specifies the most acceptable variant of realization of the center's outputs to Russian plants, providing normal profitability of manufacture.
