Russia has always stood on the way of the West. The roots of contradictions between the two worlds go back to the depth of centuries. Russia denies values of the West and does not allow it to establish the world domination. Today the collision of the civilizations has transformed into a new critical state: the humankind has entered the epoch of the civilizations’ wars. The author tries to answer the questions, whether Russia is ready for such a war and whether it is able to preserve itself as a separate cultural and historical world and one of the modern civilizations.
