Dialectologist Suzana Todorovic discusses three dialect speeches in Koper and shows them linguistic diversity in this part of Istria. Namely, the commanding image of Koper is much more diverse than the (dialectic) image of Izola and Piran; while in these two areas the locals speak only the Savrin sub-forms of the Slovene Istrian dialect and one of the two versions of the Istrian-Slavic dialect. In the Krsko region there are rice and shavrin speeches of the Slovenian dialect and both versions of the Istrian language. The author presents the linguistic complexity of this very small, but linguistically rich part of Istria with the data she obtained with precocious research in Bertoki, Pusah and St. Anton. Among the Bertochani of Italian origin, it was studied by the Istrian people, while in the Pycarje savrina between Antuence, the Rhine speech was studied. Twenty-one dialect speakers were involved in the study.
