The Diary of 1918-1925 by Miron Korduba is a unique testimony of the time of the revolutions of 1917-1921 and several years when the issue of the state status of Galicia was decided on the international arena. The author is a well-known historian, political and public figure, one of the most active organizers of the Ukrainian Secret University, its teacher and dean. His diary sheds light on both the international context of events in Galicia in 1918-1923 and the internal dynamics of events - the work of the Presidium and the Broad Presidium of Unradi, relations with the UPR, attitude towards the Pilsudski-Petliura Union and the Bolsheviks. The special value of the "Diary" is an inside look at the organization of "state within a state", that is, the functioning of quasi-state institutions: the Collegium of Assistants, I will single out the eleven People's Committee of the UNTP - a conspiratorial political structure that led the boycott of the elections to the Polish Seim and Senate (November 1922) as well as the Military Organization.
