The dictionary gives the dialect units of Kars province and Gyumri landscape of Historical Armenia, with word meanings specific to each area. Based on the fact that the dialect units of Kars and Gyumri have a lot in common, the vocabulary of both dialects is given in the dictionary on a unified basis, the words that are specific to each of the dialects are given a seperate note.
