The yearbook brings together data on the population size and composition, birth and death rates, registered marriages and divorces, migration and unemployment. The annual provides the most recent demographic data due to specificity of its compilation procedure. The first-hand information is obtained from the Civil Status Act Registers, from migration registration coupons, from death (including prenatal death) certificates issued by physicians and from other immediate sources. The Appendix to the Yearbook contains color graphs, maps. Standing orders are accepted.
