In the book a great variety of patterns of Tatar oral speech from the Tyumen, Novosibirsk, Omsk and Tomsk regions of Russia are collected and transcribed. All of the patterns were gathered in the course of lexical-dialectological expeditions directly at the local level and contain important data on the material culture of the Siberian Tatars, the wealth and immemorial traditions of their culture and wonderful masterpieces of oral folklore.
