The monograph deals with the little-studied problems of philosophy and psychology of art, complicated transformations experienced by an artist at the moment of creation of a masterpiece. The author analyzes various forms of a dialogue between an artist and his model, the phenomenon of an artistic reflection. Artistic environment is treated as a special subculture with all the “marginal” features characteristic of it.
