Based on an analysis of historical and contemporary political practices, this monograph identifies the key characteristics of extremism, its main varieties, conditions, forms, and manifestations. It reveals the peculiarities of the escalation of extremism in the context of the transformation of the modern world order and its use by the countries of the collective West to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia.
