"Folio" publishing house introduces readers to the epistolary legacy of Ivan Bahrianyi (1906-1963) - a Ukrainian writer, publicist, political figure who was repressed by the Soviet authorities in the 1930s and emigrated to Germany in 1945. Only in independent Ukraine it became possible to objectively cover the figure of Ivan Bahrianyi and publish his works. This volume contains more than 130 letters of I. Bahrianyi and some addressees to him. As documents of the era, they make it possible to expand the concept of the artist and politician who devoted his activities to the struggle against the communist regime — for a democratic, independent Ukrainian state.
