Current social aspects of global influences and their place in the system of transformational processes are considered. Special attention is paid to the consequences of global processes at the local level, given the specifics of the changes taking place in modern Ukrainian society. A wide range of social problems in need of a new theoretical and applied understanding is presented, among which a special place is occupied by value systems of society, issues of the coronavirus pandemic and public safety, social education, ecological migration, local self-government, media discourse on poverty, public leadership practices, corrupt behavior and characteristics of consumption.
