Caesar Ordin (1835-1892) was a chamberlain of the Imperial Household, a secret councilor of the Minister of Internal Affairs and a trustee of the Hospital St. Nicholas and the Craft School of the Crown Prince Nicholas Alexandrovich. On the basis of mostly unpublished sources he outlined the history of the Russian conquest of Finland. This study was awarded with the Award of Metropolitan Macarius by the Imperial Academy of Sciences. Limited quantity.
