According to the rank table the author of the proposed memoirs is a 1st class councilor. But he called himself just an ordinary diplomat, as he was simply one of the honest and initiative men fulfilling certain missions of the Center without participating in strategy and tactics development in the relations with the countries of Latin America. The author coped with his job well working with public, political, military and state figures of Latin America. Describing his execution of some delicate and dangerous tasks he narrates about a real life of foreign institutions, in which he was lucky enough to work, as well as about the activities of the headquarters.
