In the book by M.Alekseev thorough consideration is given to the reconstruction of morphology inventory of the pre-Eastern Caucasian protolanguage in the field of noun morphology, development of morphology categories in the subfamilies of the Nakh-Daghestan languages, as well as categories of case, localization, number and class. Apart from the above-mentioned issues the author collates the hypothesis of monoconsonantism of Caucasian root and reflects the important role of opposition of nominative case and ergative case in the Nakh-Daghestan languages.
