Ilya Ilf (1897-1937) and Yevgeny Petrov (1903-1942) were two Soviet writers of satire whose works are distinguished by sparkling humor. Their works reflect the spirit of the 1920s in the Soviet Union. The fourth volume of the collection comprises travel notes “One-storeyed America”, story “Tonya” and sketches written in 1935-1936.
