Memorial architecture perpetuates the memory of people, beliefs, significant events and places. Since ancient times, monuments and temples were erected in different countries of the world. In these objects, various types of visual arts and architecture were combined to create artistic images that evoke deep emotions and embody human ideals and traditions. The book tells about the centuries-old traditions of the memorial architecture of Belarus in the texts and 200 illustrations. It presents monuments located in more than 60 small settlements of our country, so it is dedicated to the “Year of the Small Motherland”.
