The book is about the outstanding chorus conductor, professor Boris Tevlin. During 40 years (since 1957) Boris Tevlin was the head of the most famous Russian chorus, and the winner of gold medals at international chorus competitions. He is the author of a large number of musicological and educational researches, articles, reviews, teaching manuals. Some of his articles are included in this book.
