The monograph is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Chernobyl' catastrophe. The author analyzes the reasons of the Chernobyl' disaster and looks for ways of solving the problem. The reader will find here a program of necessary actions that should be undertaken in order to eliminate the consequences of the Chernobyl' tragedy. The reader will also get acquainted with theoretical and methodological foundations of radioactive contamination analysis. The author is primarily interested in the problems of public health in Ternopil' (Ukraine) and adjacent territories and in the financial aspects of the state programs implemented in the area.
