In the monographic study real events in the Chernihiv region during the Russian-Ukrainian war are reproduced and interpreted: those that the author experienced personally under the conditions of the blockade of his native Chernihiv, and those that took place during the occupation; their chronological analysis is carried out, the value of human life during the Russian blockade and occupation is emphasized, the role of the national police of Chernihiv region and united territorial communities in the protection of the native land from the enemy are highlighted, the memories of veterans of internal affairs bodies who survived the Russian invasion of Chernihiv region are given.
