This is the first complete catalog of V. V. Tarnovs'kyi Chernihiv History Museum collection of embroidered ritual cloths. The author, Vira Zaichenko, was able to compile it after processing the museum collection and completing many years of fieldwork. Zaichenko discusses the ways in which cloths from the Chernihiv-Siversk land were used, the rituals connected to them, their materials and their production, and various technical approaches, ornaments, and compositions.
