The book describes the reign of the famous manap Musakojo Ysrael uulu from the Ak-Talaa region in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and his work in preventing the Ak-Talaa region from being threatened by China during the National Liberation Uprising of 1916, based on archival materials, scientific works and manuscripts. It also describes the historical events of famous Kyrgyz people associated with this person, and previously obscure, unpublished archival documentary materials were also used as evidence.
