Dr. Egle Bazaraite - architectural researcher, architect, teaching at VILNIUS TECH Faculty of Architecture and Vilnius Academy of Arts. From 2019 is a member of the 5th assessment council of the Department of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. Engaged in architectural design activities and traditional crafts. In her monograph she deconstructs the spatial structure of three Catholic cemeteries in Vilnius - Rasu, Bernardine and Saule, draws parallels and highlights contradictions with the cemeteries of that time in the Christian core of Europe. In the monograph, Catholic burial landscapes are looked at with the help of architectural means, presenting these urban areas as a multi-layered spatial construct formed by historical and cultural contexts.
