The new volume of the series “Documents of the Soviet History” draws the readers' attention to the documents on the relations of the Central Committee of the Communist parties of the Soviet Republics, heads of regional committees during the period of late Stalinism. The book focuses on the analysis of the enactments of Political Bureau and the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist party of the Soviet Union (Bolsheviks) concerning control over activities of the regional committees and the most extensive campaigns against regional party secretaries.
