One of the first encyclopedic collections of the information about the Caucasus, acquired from special studies and the results of the long-term observations of the old-timer, who has studied his native land. In 1889 there was the first publication of the reference book “Dictionary of Caucasian personalities”, which contained state and public figures, major industrialists, and the most common and meaningful names.
