This collective work is devoted to the study of the work of Catherine II and the influence of her cultural policy on her contemporaries - G.R. Derzhavin, D.I. Fonvizin, M.N. Muravyov, N.M. Karamzin, A.N. Radishchev and others. The project participants subjected a number of historical and literary myths to critical analysis and proposed new interpretations of both long-known works and those texts that have not attracted the attention of researchers.
