This is not just a business card of Grodno, it is a historical place where various events took place, it is a place of worship of God, a place where the meeting of creation with its Creator took place and continues to take place, where man finds harmony with God.
The Jesuit fathers, who were engaged in educational activities, erecting a beautiful temple building, did not imagine that in 300 years the sanctuary would acquire the status of a cathedral and a small basilica. Although many years have passed since the Jesuits left the city, the great legacy of their spiritual life and today through the architecture of the church, the number and location of the altars continues to teach us love for the great God and high culture.
The architecture of the church is like an open book that can be read endlessly. The Baroque style in which the church is built is reminiscent of our supreme vocation prepared for us by God. Peering into the shabby floor tiles, we realize how many people have passed here in search of salvation. Seeing the erased steps of the confessionals, we realize how many believers have taken the sacrament of penance here.
We want to preserve this pearl of our history and pass it on to future generations so that they can not only be proud of their heritage, but also appreciate the great heritage of our ancestors.
