For almost fifty years, the name KT Auschwitz (Osvetim) has been associated with Hitler's mass murder for millions of people around the world, a crime unparalleled in the history of civilization. In less than five years of the camp's existence, the Nazis murdered more than a million people, mostly Jews, but also a significant number of Poles, Czechs, Roma and representatives of other nationalities.
