New materials reflecting relevant problems of spiritual, intellectual and art legacy of Russia and the Yelets Region are introduced in the bulletin. Its section «Spiritual Legacy of the Yelets Land» contains unknown facts about self-sacrificing activity of Archimandrite Isaaky (I.V.Vinogradov). The attraction of archive sources, illustrations, innovations in conceiving creative biographies of P.I.Bartenev, I.A.Bunin, M.M.Prishvin, A.I.Levitov, N.Ya.Danilevsky defined new strategies in the interpretations of historical and cultural legacy of the Yelets land. For the first time the works by the outstanding Russian writer-immigrant G.D.Grebenshchikov taken from private archives are published. The poems by E.I.Nazarov are returned after age-old oblivion. I.A.Bunin considered E.I.Nazarov his poetical tutor.
