The authors of this collective monograph, having studied the life of the borderlands in many aspects, and the Brest region in particular, considered topical issues of the history and philosophy of relationships, some issues of local history, microhistory and the history of everyday life in the border regions, showed the Brest region as a space for dialogue and interaction of various languages, literatures and cultures, while noting the socio-cultural, aesthetic, psychological and pedagogical features that influence the formation of a personality capable of consolidating a multicultural society.
