This book is another tribute to the outstanding artist Boriss Bērziņš (1930–2002), whose 95th anniversary will be celebrated on October 7. The publication contains art historian Laima Slava's conversations with Boriss Bērziņš, which were made in the period from the early 1980s to the turn of the millennium, especially in the mid-1990s, and an album of drawings created by Boriss Bērziņš over various decades. In turn, the drawings for the album were selected from the artist's generous legacy, emphasizing the most characteristic, and in such a way as not to repeat what has already been seen, previously published, and so that the viewer would derive pleasure from both the genius of the author's talent and his ability to play with form, image, and line.
