The anthology is the first in Russian interdisciplinary edition directed to comprehension and complex study of influence exerted upon modern society by the development of bio- and genetically engineered technologies. It is devoted to the analysis of cultural, social, esthetic and ideological aspects of influence of these methods (as well as a range of similar technological directions) on public consciousness, working-out of prospect strategies of activities aimed at cultural adaptation of this influence in society.
