The three volume project is intended to present the history of Russian culture in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia surveyed and reflected in different documents. Various aspects of history highlighted - cultural life, sivil movements, literature, memoirs, varia - create an overall picture of the phenomenon. The first volume comprises lists of the repressed Russian elite of Latvia and Estonia, annotated index of private collections belonging to Russian public figures and kept at Estonian funds, reviews of Estonian periodicals of the 19th century, political movements of Russian emigrants in Estonia in 1920-1940, historical essays.
